Fresh Face
We see extreme contouring, deep smokey eyes and extremely exaggerated brows everywhere, from celebrities to Youtube 'beauty gurus.' I fully support anyone creating the look that makes he or she feel confident and beautiful, but I must say I prefer a fresher face for myself.
I believe I started wearing makeup in 7th or 8th grade, with a purple, cream Barbie brand eye shadow. Since then my love for makeup has taken off. I love trying new products, but always do research before I purchase something new.
I really liked my look yesterday, so I will describe the products I used and how I used them <3

| My look from yesterday |
 |
| To start I wash my face with Saint Ives apricot scrub, then moisturize with Ponds Dry Skin Cream. Next I use Rimmel Lasting Finish Primer. I definitely notice a difference with this product, my foundation definitely looks better using this primer. |

| I've always had very dark circles under my eyes, so not much helps, but I find this very dirty Mabelline Fit Me concealer in 15 Fair gives at least a dewy glow. As for foundation, I have never loved one as much as the Bourjois Foundation Healthy Mix Radiance Reveal in 51 Light Vanilla. It gives such a nice glow and beautiful coverage. |
 |
| As mentioned in my past post, I use the Bourjois powder bronzer and The Natural Collection bronzing pearls for some color in the summer. I apply these with brushes from Amazon. |
 |
| I found this beautiful rose gold eyelash curler at TJ Maxx by The Vintage Cosmetic Company, which works better than any eyelash curler I've ever used. I then apply Maybelline Mega Plush Volum' Express to only my top lashes. I love this mascara because it gives a flity doe eyed look and holds curl well. I use NYX Tame & Frame in brunette on my brows for a defined yet natural look. I use another NYX product, the baked eyeshadow in Easy Rider either all over my lids, or just in the corner, and also under my brow bone for a youthful and awake look. |
 |
| I dust Covergirl Clean powder in 110 Classic Ivory to take care of a pesty shiny nose. I apply either Balea Crazy Raspberry or Swirled Kisses in Strawberry banana before applying makeup and after. If I want a juicy, natural cherry kissed look I use my beloved Coveregirl Smoocies in #2 cute (the worst product name ever.) If I really want to look put together I slab a coat of Essence Studio Nails All in One Complete Care clear polish on my nails. |
